Had some time with my boys. Both going on adventures this week; Aonghas to Christchurch for his u18 hockey tournament and Lachlan to Oz for a well-earned holiday. So we went for tea at one of favourite restaurants. Good to see them both chatting away.
Summer is hotting up. Moved to my outdoor office today – so nice to work outdoors. Nigel and I walked to the gardens and took a detour to the river where I snapped this angler fly fishing- reckoned he caught a good size trout this morning. The boys have gone up to a concert in Auckland. It’s a bit scary – my boys heading to the big city together!
It’s been a long day! Up at 4.30am to take Kate and Rosa to the airport. Goodbyes are always hard so we tried to make it short and sweet. They are off for more adventures in Tasmania and we drove 8 hours back home!
Pick of the day has to be me and my little sister…last one for a while!
