The Cobham Road underpass, which has been under construction for the last few months is now open. One of the things I like about Hamilton is the add amount of street art and there is a great example of it in the underpass. This is just a detail.
Last weekend there was a street art festival in Hamilton. Walls were identified around Hamilton East and in the town centre that were ripe for artwork. We saw this space on Grey Street being painted on Friday night. Today I sought it out to see the result. Stunning! I love that these artworks are tucked away…little treasures and splashes of creativity in the drabness of the city.
Christchurch. Facilitator Hui. Walking to the office this morning it is clear to see the changes since my last visit in December. Lots of new buildings, still loads of roadworks, more demolition sites and more street art. I love this installation. Tree Houses for Swamp Dwellers.
