The keynote I missed at Ulearn because I left early to fly to Nelson was the standout of the conference. I heard Anne Milne speak a couple of years and was deeply moved by what she said then. I have been reading the tweets and blog posts her keynote stimulated and have bought her book, Colouring in the White Spaces. I love the idea of ‘warrior scholars’.
Exhausted after two days of stimulating conversation with fellow educators. Prompting thinking, challenging assumptions, changing the world! An amazing sky as I left Rototuna Junior High School, I just had to pull over and take a photo.
Graduation 🎓 Day
I really need to write a longer post about this incredibly uplifting experience. I went to support Nigel receive his Post Graduate Certificate in Education (specialism Leadership in HE) thinking I’d be out if the office for an hour or so…. How wrong could one be?! (explanation coming later!)
