Soo… Kaitaia. One of the things which is fast becoming a feature of our SMS roadtrip is the hotels. Kaitaia hasn’t disappointed. Think we stepped through a wormhole into the 1970s today.  Number 10 out of 10 on tripadvisor… I think we were only there because they also provided the venue for the workshop.
Apart from the additional bonus of  spiders,  cockroaches and mouse poo (under the pillow) ,  the highlight was the bottle opener screwed to the quintessentially 70s style tiles in the bathroom…just in case you need a beer in the bath..or the toilet!
