Well, we were hopeful for a win and the boys started well but faded and lost in the last five minutes. But the early game meant we had time to go out to Akaroa.

It was a beautiful day, spectacular views and a walk up the hill and through some interesting forest.  The Purple Peak Curry Reserve is a regenerating forest with a range of native and intriduced species, the most distinctive of which are the Tree Fuchsias.  So many photos to choose from but I chose this one in the forest.
