The rain certainly came down today (but fortunately not as much as in Texas). I spotted this wee one crossing the playground in the school I was working in today.

A great day out in the river trails today. Building distances now for Abel Tasman in October. Scarily close! Managed 28km reasonably comfortably with plenty of elevation. 
It must be spring because the air was full of pollen. It almost looked like must until we saw the yellow dust settling on our clothes

An interesting day which started off helping a French family in a tragic situation. They needed a translator and I was able to step in and do what I could.
This evening I was glad to have the freedom to see the beauty in the world. Counting my blessings.

Trying to catch up on my 100 Day Project…I haven’t posted this one yet from Napier the other day. These pou are beautiful but difficult to photograph against the bright sky so I’ve played with editing.

Semi final night down at the turf. Hillcrest v St John’s. A tense match but we finally came out on top 3-1. Final next week against Boys High.

Post workshop walk along the beach to debrief. Great to get some fresh air and love this structure. Looks like there is some cool stuff going on in Napier.
