My sister sent me a video of my littlest sister’s 50th birthday. It made me cry. I also received a parcel from my other sister for Christmas. I miss my sisters. We don’t talk much. I wish we did.

It’s been a long day! Up at 4.30am to take Kate and Rosa to the airport. Goodbyes are always hard so we tried to make it short and sweet. They are off for more adventures in Tasmania and we drove 8 hours back home!

A sunny day so a trip to Raglan. Unfortunately, the outgoing tide was too strong so we couldn’t kayak. So we wandered round the shops then walked through Wainui Bush Reserve and over to Ngarunui beach. A quick dip in the ocean and a walk along the beach. ..bit nippy but it has to be done!! And a message in the sand!

My sister and my niece arrived today. First time for them in New Zealand and three years since I saw them. So very excited. First stop. ..Pokeno for ice cream then a walk around Hamilton Gardens and then Christmas tree decorating just to keep jet lag at bay! Lovely to see cousins together again.
