My first (hopefully not my last) CORE Education retreat. The whole company in Hanmer Springs to learn together, explore ideas, be creative and reimagine. Alex talked to us about how we should privilege the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi over the principles. He suggested that the principles are fine but too vague, too open to interpretation- maybe they present too many barriers. But the articles are more enabling.
It made so much sense but I need time to unpack it more and really think about it.
