A day to rest my bones today. Cleaned muddy shoes, did a bit of weeding and pottering in the garden. Pleased to see the lilac bush I planted last year in flower and a monarch butterfly feasting deeply on its nectar. Big son came for tea which is always a pleasure….don’t see him often enough.
